A sought-after consultant, Russ works with nonprofit/business leaders who are seeking clarity and improvement in their organizations. His deep knowledge of strategy, marketing, and organizational health is paired with strong business acumen and a propensity to catalyze creative solutions. Outside of consulting, he has led cross-functional strategy and marketing for a $310M business unit at an INGO and early in his career, put in his 10,000 hours as an agency writer serving nonprofits. Russ earned his MBA at Pepperdine University and holds an MA from Fuller Theological Seminary. An avid traveler, Russ believes that cross-cultural travel is a source of innovation and has spent time on 5 continents, 26 countries, and 47 U.S. states. He and his wife, a psychologist and Army veteran, have two toddlers and reside in Indianapolis.
