Kristin Perks Champa

Vice President for Advancement, Christian Theological Seminary

Kristin Perks Champa, DMA, has served as Vice President for Advancement at Christian Theological Seminary since September 2019, overseeing all Development, Alumni Engagement, Communications, Marketing, and PR activities for the seminary. Dr. Champa has cultivated a versatile skill set in fundraising, communications, and strategic planning over the past 25 years. Her tenure has been marked by the development, execution, and expansion of core fundraising programs that significantly advance the missions of various organizations, earning her a reputation for delivering exceptional, solution-oriented results.

Prior to assuming her current role at CTS, Dr. Champa demonstrated her leadership expertise at both Earlham College and DePauw University. Notably, at DePauw, she led a successful $25 million campaign for the School of Music, achieving its completion ahead of schedule. Her background also includes programming and leadership roles for the music nonprofit, Midori & Friends, in New York City. Throughout her career, she has been a dedicated advocate for the empowerment and mentorship of women in non-profit and higher education spheres. She serves as State Co-Chair for ACE Women's Network of Indiana and also on the Board of Directors of the Zionsville Education Foundation. Dr. Champa's unwavering commitment to excellence, her results-driven approach, and her impactful contributions have firmly established her as a respected leader in the field.
